Grace Carr is a visual journalist based in the Maryland area. Her interest in storytelling began while documenting the 2015 Baltimore Protests over the death of Freddie Gray. It was there she gained an appreciation for the power of images and honest, fact-based journalism. Grace is passionate about creating work with themes around the concern for social justice. Her most recent work, "Second Chances," follows a young man from Baltimore as he works to overcome challenges of the past and graduate high school.
